Namibian wrestlers Lisias and Henrico returned from Mauritius with three medals following a successful international competition.

Lisias claimed two silver medals, finishing second in the U17 60kg freestyle category and the U17 70kg beach wrestling category.

Henrico secured a bronze medal in beach wrestling after a hard-fought performance. He also competed in the 65kg weight category, where he faced a senior opponent in a friendly match, demonstrating his commitment and determination.

The team congratulated both wrestlers and acknowledged the work of their coaching staff in preparing them for the event.

Special thanks were extended to coach Luis Forcelledo Paz for his role in preparing the athletes, as well as United World Wrestling and the Mauritius Wrestling Federation for their support and for organising the competition.
