The Namibia Tennis Association's Senior Masters tournament was held in Olympia on Friday and Saturday. In the men's final, top-ranked Elias Shikongo (pictured) faced the second-seeded Oscar Muyambo and won the first set 6-1. Muyambo lauched a spirited fightback, but Shikongo's skill and fitness won him the set and the match by 7-6 in the tiebreak. In the women’s draw, reduced by a few players withdrawing through illness, Minenhle Moyo placed first in the round-robin of the three remaining contenders ahead of Leandre Louw and Laruschka Kruger.
