The Namibia Aquatic Sports Federation (Nasfed) has announced its team of four athletes for the 2026 World Aquatics Junior Open Water Swimming Championship, to take place in Santa Fe, Argentina from 3 to 6 September 2026. The team comprises Alex Marggraff, the brother-and-sister pair of Riley Bergh and Madison Bergh, as well as Tristan Nell. They will be accompanied by coach Jörn Diekmann, who said the swimmers have had a “rough” few months in training, swimming between eight and nine kilometres per session, for eight sessions per week. Diekmann is however realistic in his expectations and aware of the expected presence of all the world-leading swimming nations. Photo Nasfed
