Namibian rugby supporters are set for a thrilling international encounter when the Welwitschias take on Italy on Friday at Hage Geingob Stadium.

The highly anticipated test match not only promises world-class rugby action but also offers fans a unique opportunity to win an unforgettable prize. In partnership with Synergi Events, the Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) has launched a promotional campaign giving ticket holders the chance to win the Ultimate Rugby Experience.



Grand prize details

One lucky fan will win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to watch the Springboks face Italy at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on 5 July this year.



The prize package includes:

Two match tickets to the Springboks versus Italy clash.

Return flights from Windhoek to Johannesburg with South African Airways.

Shuttle transfers between the airport and hotel.

Two nights’ shared accommodation at Loftus Park.



The winner will be announced live at the stadium during Namibia and Italy's fixture, adding to what is already shaping up to be a memorable evening of rugby.

With the 2027 Rugby World Cup on the horizon, the test match against Italy forms part of Namibia’s broader preparation campaign and serves as a testament to the country’s growing stature in international rugby.
