Unam Kings, NCS take CVA League crowns

University of Namibia (Unam) Kings and Namibian Correctional Service (NCS) were crowned champions of the Central Volleyball Association (CVA) League during the prize-giving ceremony in Windhoek on Tuesday evening.

Kings claimed the men’s division gold medals, with Afrocat D taking silver and Namibian Defence Force (NDF) Hurricanes bronze.

NCS won the women’s title ahead of Deutscher Turn und Sportverein (DTS) Invictors in second place and Namibian University of Science and Technology (Nust) Elites in third.

The top two teams in each division will compete in the Bank Windhoek Namibia Volleyball Federation (NVF) Cup in Otjiwarongo this weekend.

The champions and runners-up from the Bank Windhoek NVF Cup will gain promotion to the country’s top-tier MTC Volleyball National League next season.
