Nedbank for Good Series concludes qualifying rounds at Omeya
The Nedbank for Good Series recently concluded its 13-round qualifying campaign at Omeya Golf and Lifestyle Estate, with Gerrit van Rooyen and Mary-Ann Boltmann claiming victory in the men’s and ladies’ divisions.
Van Rooyen won the men’s division after finishing on 42 points, the same score as Tiaan Snyman. Van Rooyen took first place on a countback, with Snyman second, while John Williams completed the top three on 39 points.
In the ladies’ division, Boltmann claimed first place with 37 points. Anja Wessels finished one point behind on 36 points, while Anecia le Grange took third place with 33 points.
With the qualifying campaign complete, attention now turns to the season finale at Windhoek Golf Club on 13 November.
Tournament organiser Dan Zwiebel said the Omeya event provided a fitting conclusion to the qualifying stage.
“Reaching the end of the qualifying rounds is an important milestone in the Nedbank for Good Series calendar. We have seen competitive golf and committed participation throughout the series. Omeya provided a fitting conclusion to this stage of the competition,” said Zwiebel.

Nedbank Namibia's spokesperson Selma Kaulinge said the conclusion of the qualifying rounds was an opportunity to recognise the golfers and partners who supported the series throughout the year.
“The conclusion of the qualifying stage at Omeya marks another important moment in the 2026 Nedbank for Good Series. As money experts who do good, Nedbank Namibia is proud to support a series that brings golfers together at clubs across Namibia and provides amateur players with an opportunity to compete,” said Kaulinge.
