National highlight for all bowls players

The Namibia Bowls Association’s National Bowls Week 2025 starts in Windhoek on Saturday, 24 May, with King Price as the main sponsor.

Bowlers from all over Namibia will flock to the capital to showcase their skills and play in the sought-after eight-day tournament.

Bowls Week, as it is commonly known, will showcase Namibian bowlers on individual level as well as in the team disciplines. The disciplines will include novice singles, veterans singles, mixed pairs, pairs, trips and fours for men and ladies respectively.

Matches will take place at Eros Bowling Club, Windhoek Bowling Club and at the new Trustco United Bowls Club in Olympia.

All final games will be played on Saturday 31 May at Windhoek Bowling Club, situated in the heart of Windhoek of the Government Gardens.

The schedule of play is as follows:

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May – Men & ladies pairs.

Monday 26 May – Mixed pairs / novice singles / veteran singles.

Tuesday 27 May – Men and ladies singles.

Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 May – Men and ladies trips.

Thursday 29, Friday 30 and Saturday 31 May – Men and ladies fours.
