Namibia's U21 African beach volleyball champions Max and Jura Krafft arrived in Puebla, Mexico, on Tuesday ahead of their participation at the U21 Beach Volleyball World Championships, which run from today until Wednesday.

They are accompanied by coach and father Martin Krafft, alongside team manager Inka Krafft. Speaking to this publication yesterday, beach volleyball coach Conrad Johannes said the brothers featured in the qualification rounds yesterday and will compete in the main draw today.

“The schedule will be completed after the qualifiers,” Johannes said.

The brothers earned their place at the global showpiece following their success at the Continental U21 Championships in Morocco in July, where they claimed the country’s first-ever African gold medal in U21 beach volleyball. PHOTO CONTRIBUTED
