Final Nedbank for Good Series round in Windhoek

The 2025 Nedbank for Good Series reaches its final regional round this Saturday, 13 September, at the Windhoek Golf and Country Club. The 13th leg of the competition will determine the last two finalists for the series finale at Omeya Golf Club on 3 October.Teeing off at 10h00 from the first and tenth tees, players will compete in the Individual Stableford format in both men’s and ladies’ divisions. This scoring system awards points for a player’s net score on each hole rather than total strokes.
This year’s series has travelled across Namibia, visiting Omeya, Oranjemund, Gobabis, Okahandja, Mariental, Oshakati, Grootfontein, Outjo, Henties Bay, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. The 26 male and female champions from these events will meet at Omeya Golf Club for the grand finale to crown the 2025 Nedbank for Good Series winners.
Formerly known as the Nedbank for Autism Series, the event continues to make a tangible impact on communities. Proceeds from this year’s series benefit Agra ProVision, which provides training, services and support to underserved agricultural communities.
Event organiser Dan Zwiebel said preparations are on track, “We are excited to host the final regional round in Windhoek. What started six years ago has grown into a major event promoting golf and contributing to meaningful causes. We expect about 100 players and can’t wait to see who joins our finalists for the grand finale.” Registration remains open until Wednesday, 10 September at 17h00. Club members can register via the Windhoek Golf Club app, while non-members can sign up by WhatsApping Toady Gurirab on +264 85 620 4758. Zwiebel highlighted the organisers’ goal of taking golf to all corners of Namibia, pointing to the success of new venues added to the roster this year.
Nedbank Namibia Chief Commercial Officer, JG van Graan, praised the expansion, “As money experts who do good, we are proud to be associated with the series.
