Hanekom is Omeya’s champion

Omeya Golf Club presented its 2026 Omeya Club Championship last Saturday and Sunday. A field of 78 players competed in the men’s, women’s, seniors and juniors divisions. The four green jerseys to the gross-score winners in these four divisions were the highlight of the prize-giving. Francois Hanekom won the main competition with a gross score of 143, while Greg Wise won the A Division with 146 shots and John Chadyiwa took overall best nett (139). Organisers expressed thanks to Ricoh for its sponsorship and continued support for golf in Namibia.
