ABInBev Monthly Medal series progresses
On a windy yet beautiful sunny Saturday, the Windhoek Golf Club proudly hosted the second of eight ABInBev Monthly Medal competitions that was successfully completed with great competition and excitement on the course.
Willem Triegaardt stole the show with a phenomenal score of 68 nett, claiming top honours and edging out Sponks Mohale on handicap in what turned out to be closely contested round.
The action did not stop there, as a number of players tested their luck in the pools and the two-club proved to be a popular challenge on the day, with six players sharing the honours after exceptional shots.
The players who shared the two-club prize were Aldo Beukes, Cor Beuke, John Chadyiwa, Joseph Martin, Justus Amutenya and Graeme Fransman.
In the short pool, Chantel Visser showed great touch around the greens to walk away with 11 points and took the price.
To round of the day, a few lucky draws put smiles all around as Tommy Nangombe, Andrew Langworthy and Lucky Ngeyethu each walked away with biltong sponsored by the Corner Butcher.
