The visiting Cricket South Africa Emerging Academy Women’s team hit back hard yesterday to draw level with Namibia’s Capricorn Eagles in their series of three 50-over matches at the FNB HP Oval in Olympia. The South Africans amassed 364/4 in their 50 overs, fuelled by two centuries by Delmari Tucker (pictured) and Alexandra Clare Candler. Candler (107 off 134 balls) hit 11 fours and a six, after Tucker had first blasted 100 off 72 balls (15 fours). Kayla Reyneke further accelerated proceedings with 66 not out off 28 balls (nine fours, three sixes). The Namibians were then restricted to 136 all out, giving South Africa the win by 228 runs.
